Dynamos F.C was formed in 1967 by immigrant worker employed at Laporte mineralsand company. Dynamos Juniors began in 1973 with a team of U/17s and U/13s.
The original Laporte title was change to Dynamos in 1975 and juniors became independent body. Senior and junior clubs maintain a strong realationship and share common ideas,headquaters and facilities. Dynamos is proud of its long contribution to our local community and the playing fields of Western Australia.
Under its old name of Laporte, Our club was a founding member of the South-West Soccer Association, Bunbury Junior Association And Country Womens Soccer Association. Under the Dynamos banner it is a founder member of newly former Country Coastal JSA.
In 2004, Dynamos Juniors, With 330 registered players was close to the largest Junior club in WA.
Dynamos commitee members are Volunteer Supporters, Players Past And Present of the club, Plus a few old blokes with time on their hands and a passion for the game.
Over the past 3 decades, Hundreds of youngsters have passed through our junior teams and went on to play in our senior ranks of Bunbury Dynamos. We sincerely trust they have fond memories and for some are still enjoying their time with Dynamos.
The Dynamos Dragon has its roots in Welsh history. The Red Dragon features on the flags of Wales and the Welsh Guards, The Welsh Coat Of Arms and is a symbol for all things Welsh.
The Red Dragon connection with Dynamos comes from Ron Moss founder member and designer of the club emblem and long time stalwart of our club, Who happens to be a welshman.
We are very proud of our emblem and Ron.
Our main rivals are Bunbury United and Hay Park.
